New EWP Website is now LIVE!

Posted on June 6, 2017

We are excited to announce that our new EWP website is now live!

You’ll also notice that we have an exclusive new members area where you can:

  • find out when your EWP membership expires
  • renew your membership when it does expire
  • find out how many pool sessions you have left
  • buy pool sessions
  • register for lessons
  • list your equipment for sale (will appear on public website)
  • view our Executive Directory
  • view Meetings & Minutes from board meetings and AGMs

Please note that we will no longer be processing paper-based membership forms, lessons registrations or collecting money pool side for any of these things. You must be a registered EWP member through the website and all purchases & registrations will be done through the website from this point forward.

If you are already a member of EWP, it means you likely already have an online account. You will receive your login details within a few days. If you do not receive your login details soon, please contact us to let us know and we will work with you to get it sorted out. In some cases, you have been registered as a family, so also check with your family members.

In addition to this exclusive members-only area, the new website features a tournament registration system. You’ll see it in action for our next major tournament: Cup of the North 2018. All teams AND team members will be required to register online. We will no longer be processing tournament registrations for teams or team members over email or in person, including payment. Stay tuned for further details when registration opens.

We are thrilled to launch this new era of the EWP!

Youth Lessons

EWP offers classes to kids as young as 6 years old and emphasizes a fun learning environment in order to develop basic kayaking skills. Older youth are transitioned into our youth program (or start there) and are exposed to all aspects of the sport, including whitewater, rolling basics and canoe/kayak polo. There are many opportunities to get folded into the main EWP training group that practices in an adjacent pool at the same time when they aren’t participating and helping with lessons themselves. Click the button below to inquire further about our youth programs.
