Kids in Kayak
6 – 10 years old
A progressive and fun approach to introduce young kids to the sport of kayaking. The emphasis is on having fun while learning some basic kayaking skills and safety.
Where: Rundle Park Paddling Centre
What: Introduction to Kayaking for Kids over a 4 week duration
Dates:
- Round 1: June 5, 12, 19, 26 (Mondays)
- Round 2: July 10, 17, 24, 31 (Mondays)
- Round 3: August 7, 14, 21, 28 (Mondays)
Time: 6:00PM – 7:00PM
Cost: $50 (+$20 for an annual youth membership)

Youth Beginner Intro to Kayaking
11 years old+
A course that introduces youth to the fun, energetic world of kayaking. In the safe friendly environment, the basics of kayaking will be taught. This course gives the foundation to become a river paddler, canoe polo player and/or Summer Games competitor.
Where: Rundle Park Paddling Centre
What: 4 weeks in duration, exposing the participants to safety and basic skills required for whitewater kayaking and canoe polo.
Dates:
- Round 1: June 5, 12, 19, 26 (Mondays)
- Round 2: July 10, 17, 24, 31 (Mondays)
- Round 3: August 7, 14, 21, 28 (Mondays)
Time: 7:15PM – 8:15PM
Cost: $80 (+$20 youth membership)

Intermediate Youth/Alberta Summer Games Training
11 years old+
This course teaches advanced strokes for slalom, canoe polo, games and general kayak practice. This course is aimed at those who already know the basic kayak strokes and want to improve their technique. It also is the next course if interested in getting involved in the sport of kayak polo.
Where: Rundle Park Paddling Centre
What: Intermediate youth training group that runs all summer
Dates: May 30 – July 18 (Every Tuesday), PLUS free participation in June 17 polo tournament
Time: 6:30PM – 8:00PM
Cost: $100 (+$20 youth membership)

Youth/Student Drop In Sessions (Advanced Polo)
Youth paddlers with substantial polo experience should feel welcome to attend the Tuesday night drop in polo session with the adults.
EWP membership is required to paddle and to use the club equipment.
Outdoor drop in session are FREE with purchase of annual membership ($20 for youth).
