Fall/Winter Lesson Schedule Now Live

News

Posted on August 31, 2017

Time flies and now with Fall upon us, we’ve released our upcoming schedule for lessons when we make the annual switch to our Thursday/Sunday schedule at Kinsmen Pool.

Highlights include a NEW novice polo class, intermediate youth training for Alberta Summer Games, and drop-in times geared specifically to novice paddlers. Of course, our normal Intro to Kayaking courses for kids, youth and adults remain, along with our rolling classes. We also haven’t forgotten about the time slots reserved exclusively for the advanced/experienced members.

As always, you need to be an EWP member to sign up for lessons/classes and pre-purchase your drop-in sessions. We are insisting this year that you must do this online through our website prior to attending a lesson or dropping in. If you believe are a current EWP member but have not received your website login credentials for your online account, please contact as as website@paddleewp.ca so we can correct the situation. Also check with your family members as in some cases it might mean that you were signed up for a family account and one of your family members was sent the information.

Can’t wait to see you at the pool!

Youth Lessons

EWP offers classes to kids as young as 6 years old and emphasizes a fun learning environment in order to develop basic kayaking skills. Older youth are transitioned into our youth program (or start there) and are exposed to all aspects of the sport, including whitewater, rolling basics and canoe/kayak polo. There are many opportunities to get folded into the main EWP training group that practices in an adjacent pool at the same time when they aren’t participating and helping with lessons themselves. Click the button below to inquire further about our youth programs.
