EWP Fall Novice Tournament – December 2/3

Before we get carried away with COTN, EWP is hosting a fun, belated Fall novice tournament of 5 on 5 mixed teams in December. Saturday night in the big competition pool, and then Sunday (depending on numbers) will involve some polo training or change to a 4 on 4 tourney in the smaller west pool in Kinsmen.

Times:

  • Saturday, December 2: 6-10PM (competition pool)
  • Sunday December 3: 9AM-noon (warmup pool)

Cost:

  • Adults: $40
  • Youth: $35

Teams to be made from individuals who register online here. Please do not bring cash to the event. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER ONLINE.

Youth Lessons

EWP offers classes to kids as young as 6 years old and emphasizes a fun learning environment in order to develop basic kayaking skills. Older youth are transitioned into our youth program (or start there) and are exposed to all aspects of the sport, including whitewater, rolling basics and canoe/kayak polo. There are many opportunities to get folded into the main EWP training group that practices in an adjacent pool at the same time when they aren’t participating and helping with lessons themselves.
