EWP Annual General Meeting (AGM 2021)

You are invited to attend the EWP annual general meeting.

  • Date: Sunday, March 13, 2022
  • Time: 3:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Location: Kinsmen Sports Centre – Kinette Room

Come to find out what happened in the past year and have a say in what will happen in the new year.

We would love to see some new faces on our Board, so come on out and get involved with your club! Here are the positions that are available:

  4. Treasurer
  5. Website and Facebook Communications
  6. Lessons Coordinator
  7. Kinsmen Rep/Aquatics Committee Member
  8. Rundle Park and Clubhouse Rep
  9. River trips and Social Coordinator
  10. Polo Programming Coordinator

We are hoping for an in-person meeting, but we will weigh the risks and benefit of actually being able to do this closer to the event. We are hoping to see many of you at this event whether it’s in-person or online!

Youth Lessons

EWP offers classes to kids as young as 6 years old and emphasizes a fun learning environment in order to develop basic kayaking skills. Older youth are transitioned into our youth program (or start there) and are exposed to all aspects of the sport, including whitewater, rolling basics and canoe/kayak polo. There are many opportunities to get folded into the main EWP training group that practices in an adjacent pool at the same time when they aren’t participating and helping with lessons themselves.
