Unfortunately, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Cup of the North this year. Due to ongoing concerns around COVID-19 and the uncertainty of travel, registrations to date have not met our minimum threshold to continue with the event. We look forward to trying again in 2023!

NOTE: For teams and individuals currently registered, you will be fully refunded in the coming days.

Our annual Cup of the North tournament will be held this year from February 11 – February 13.

Location: Kinsmen Sports Centre

Team Registration: $650 (Before Jan 10, 2022) $750 (Beginning Jan 10, 2022)
Non-AWA Insurance Cost: $15/player
Boat Rental Cost: $50*

*Note: Private boat rentals cannot be guaranteed. Depending on demand, your boat may have to be shared with at least one other person.

Youth Lessons

EWP offers classes to kids as young as 6 years old and emphasizes a fun learning environment in order to develop basic kayaking skills. Older youth are transitioned into our youth program (or start there) and are exposed to all aspects of the sport, including whitewater, rolling basics and canoe/kayak polo. There are many opportunities to get folded into the main EWP training group that practices in an adjacent pool at the same time when they aren’t participating and helping with lessons themselves.
