Rundle Park Paddling Centre

Rundle Park Map

Canoe (kayak) Polo’s summertime home is Rundle Park. We have two dedicated ponds just for us with semi-permanent polo nets installed in the Spring every year.

Kinsmen Sports Centre

Kinsmen Sports Centre

In late Fall, we switch all operations to the pools in the Kinsmen Sports Center. You’ll find a variety of kayaking programs running through the Winter:

  • Youth Programs
  • Introductory Kayaking Lessons
  • Bracing and Rolling Lessons
  • Open Paddling Times

This is also where our Kayak (canoe) Polo teams train, from beginners all the way up to several members of our Canadian national teams.

EWP Clubhouse

EWP ClubhouseOur clubhouse is located in Buena Vista Park near the Edmonton Rowing Club off 129 St around 87 Ave, near the Edmonton Valley Zoo.

Public parking is available, but you must walk to the clubhouse unless special arrangements are made.

For directions, click on the map.

Youth Lessons

EWP offers classes to kids as young as 6 years old and emphasizes a fun learning environment in order to develop basic kayaking skills. Older youth are transitioned into our youth program (or start there) and are exposed to all aspects of the sport, including whitewater, rolling basics and canoe/kayak polo. There are many opportunities to get folded into the main EWP training group that practices in an adjacent pool at the same time when they aren’t participating and helping with lessons themselves. Click the button below to inquire further about our youth programs.
