Polo Boat Rental

Polo boat rentals for private use are available for tournaments by members of other clubs that are traveling.

In addition, for major events that require EWP members to travel, any EWP youth or adult member in good standing and part of an EWP team, may rent a polo kayak on a per-event basis. Rental includes helmet, PFD (matching a team), paddle and skirt. Renters will be responsible for any additional costs relating to repairing damage acquired during the time of rental. Cost of transporting the boat is not included.

EWP Youth selected for any National Canoe Polo team will be able to rent youth boats for the entire summer season. Renter is responsible for the cost of any repairs needed to restore it to pre-rental status, to be assessed on return of the boat. Seasonal rental also does not include any additional gear required such as a spray skirt, paddle, helmet, PFD, or transportation.

Youth Lessons

EWP offers classes to kids as young as 6 years old and emphasizes a fun learning environment in order to develop basic kayaking skills. Older youth are transitioned into our youth program (or start there) and are exposed to all aspects of the sport, including whitewater, rolling basics and canoe/kayak polo. There are many opportunities to get folded into the main EWP training group that practices in an adjacent pool at the same time when they aren’t participating and helping with lessons themselves.
