Youth Advanced Training
This program is aimed at young paddlers who have participated in previous paddling programs and who wish to increase their skill set.
As the youth improve in skill the Friday night kayaking will focus more on skills they will need to compete in the summer games and to venture out onto the river.
These skills will be supplemented with fun activities and games. New this year we want to setup a polo competition that will take place over several friday nights ending in a playof.
For this to work, we will need to know the youth committment so I can set up teams with the adult national players. If any of the parents want to play in these tournaments with the kids they can for an additional cost of $30.
The youth program will include the regular Friday night sessions, one wave pool session and a one day excursion onto the Pembina river and of course our spring EWp tournament. All the dates are listed below so please mark your calendar.
The cost of all these activities is $240 plus a $20 membership renewal ( or you can pay for a family membership renewal).
If you only signed up in the fall (youth intro course) then you will not owe a membership renewal.
So you can make three payments of $80 due Jan 6th (plus $20 membership renewal at this time), Mar 2nd and April 13th. Or a single payment of $240 plus membership renewal. The choice is yours. If you have more than one child registered in the program you can deduct $40 from the cost of the second child, if paying in installments then off the last payment (April 13th).
