Canoe Polo World Championships ResultsOur Canadian teams are having some ups and a few downs.To see all the results in detail - CLICK HERE STOLEN BOATSAttention all members, please keep an eye out for 4 boats which were stolen from the trailer at Janigo residence last Thursday July 26, in the early morning.Stolen were 3 polo boats, 2 Ignitors and one Super Condor, plus one slalom boat(red top, white bottom). To see photos of the boats, please - CLICK HERE Wednesday FREE paddle nightsWith the Alberta Summer Games now over, we return to our usual schedule and activities every Wednesday nights from 7pm to 9pm. This is only for EWP members who have graduated from an Introduction to Kayaking course. We will give feedback on paddling and rolling techniques, but these nights are not lessons. These nights are for novices not newbies.Alberta Summer Games ResultsWe are very proud of our young members who have competed in the ASG 2010.They are: Mikayla Bortscher, Rita Lester, Christian Ilkiw, Jake Anderson, Isaac Wizuna and Daniel Janigo. They have won medals in Canoe Polo (Bronze), another Bronze in C2 Slalom ( Janigo/Wizuna ) and 2 Silver medals in Wildwater, Mikayla Bortscher in K1 and Janigo/Wizuna in C2 Congratulations to all, now we start the training for 2012 ! All the young paddlers are invited to join our enthousiastic group of athletes who will be training and having fun getting ready for the next Alberta Summer Games. | Now that warmer weather is here, EWP moves its operations outside to Rundle Park Canoeing Centre Any EWP members who have previously graduated from an Intro to Kayaking course can now come to practice their paddling skills and play novice polo every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 9:30pm for FREE, all equipment supplied.
